Over the past week, four cars have been stolen in Shepparton and Mooroopna.
One of the vehicles taken was a silver Holden Captiva.
It is unregistered and has no plates.
Two vehicles were stolen from the same place on Broken River Dve, Shepparton, on February 28.
One was a blue Volkswagen T-Roc, which had since been involved in attempts to steal fuel from various petrol stations, police said.
The most recent sighting of this car was the morning of Monday, March 4, in Mooroopna, where police said the driver was trying to steal fuel.
The other vehicle stolen from Broken River Dve was a black Audi Q5. It hasn’t been seen by police since.
The fourth car stolen was a silver Nissan Pulsar, which police said now had false number plates.
At 6am on Monday, March 4, police drove behind the vehicle before it increased speed and turned on to Tracey St, Mooroopna.
