A cyclist was flown to a Melbourne hospital after a crash with a car on a rural Goulburn Valley road.
Mooroopna police Senior Constable Mark Betson said the cyclist was riding east on Toolamba-Rushworth Rd near Tatura about 5.30pm on Tuesday, March 25 when the crash occurred.
The cyclist was thrown from his bicycle when he was involved in a collision with a car that was travelling in the same direction.
The cyclist, a man in his late 60s who had been staying in the Goulburn Valley, was flown to Melbourne’s The Alfred hospital by air ambulance.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said he was in a stable condition with lower body injuries when he was flown to hospital.
The car driver, a man in his 20s from the Goulburn Valley, was not injured.
Sen Constable Betson said police investigations to determine what exactly happened were continuing.
