A driver veered off the road on the Midland Hwy, west of Mooroopna, on Friday, November 8.
The driver, a 46-year-old Shepparton woman, was travelling east along the Midland Hwy in Mooroopna at 10.50am, before the car veered off the road, crossing on to the opposite side of the road into an open area before hitting a cluster of trees between Turnbull Rd and Excelsior Ave, police said.
The driver was the sole occupant of the car.
The driver was transported to Goulburn Valley Health before being airlifted to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious but stable condition with upper body injuries.
