The solicitor for Braden Clifton, 28, of Cobram, appeared briefly in Shepparton Magistrates’ Court in the absence of his client who was in police custody.
Mr Clifton is charged with trafficking cocaine, possessing cocaine and dealing with property suspected to be the proceeds of crime.
He is also charged with committing an indictable offence on bail, two counts of contravening a bail condition and failing to provide information to assist with data collection from a phone.
No application for bail was made and magistrate Peter Dunn remanded Mr Clifton in custody to appear before the court again on January 21.
Defence solicitor David Tamanika told the court there were no custody management issues and no pleas were entered.
The court appearance follows the execution of warrants at two units at an address in Waratah St, Cobram, on Friday morning.
Police seized cocaine, jewellery and mobile phones.
