The Goulburn Valley’s favourite sporting podcast is back for another edition this week, and there is plenty happening to talk about.
It has not always been that way this year, but with summer sport leading the charge out of hibernation, McPherson Media Group production Sports Bite is jam-packed with news this week.
Host Tyler Maher is joined by Alex Mitchell to talk all things Shepparton, including a new documentary about Liam Edwards, Wes Cusworth’s hand in penning Gary Ablett Junior’s biography, Tallygaroopna’s big recruitment drive ahead of its maiden Goulburn Valley Bowls Division top-tier campaign and the Shepparton Swimming Club hitting the water once more.
Hear from Tallygaroopna president Dean Jones about the excitement that is building at his club, as well as new SSC co-president Stuart Shaw on all things swimming.
We then go around the grounds to speak to Andrew Johnston in Echuca about the start of the Campaspe Valley Bowls Division season, Echuca Racing Club’s big day and some player movements both near and far.
Meg Saultry joins us from Benalla to give us an insight into a tale of grit and determination on and off the golf course, as well as a new leader being appointed at the Benalla Bushrangers.
She also gives us the lowdown ahead of the Seymour District Cricket Association’s first round of action.
All that and more on this week’s episode of Sports Bite, available to listen to at sheppnews.com.au/podcasts or your preferred podcasting app.
