Applications are now open for the 2026 NSW Youth Advisory Council (YAC).
Hold tight - we’re checking permissions before loading more content
The YAC serves as a vital communication bridge between the youth of NSW and the NSW Government.
Members collaborate with both government and non-government agencies to tackle issues affecting children and young people in NSW.
The council then provides advice to the NSW Minister for Youth, currently Rose Jackson, and the Advocate for Children and Young People.
Young people aged 12-24 years who are eager to make a difference on issues that matter to them are encouraged to apply.
The committee is made up of 12 young people, who bring their own unique life experiences to the group and serve a one-year term.
Application can be completed online before Sunday, April 20 at www.acyp.nsw.gov.au/nsw-youth-advisory-council-application-faqs.
