A woman was allegedly threatened with a gun after two people broke into her Mooroopna home and demanded money early on Thursday, August 24.
Shepparton Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a home invasion and a burglary in Mooroopna in the early hours of Thursday, August 24.
It is believed two people broke into a business on McLennan St, Mooroopna, about 2.15am.
Police said the store was ransacked with the people looking for cash, before they fled the scene.
The pair then returned to the same street, before breaking into a home on Joseph St where police allege the occupant was threatened with a gun as the pair demanded money about 3.50am.
A 58-year-old woman told them she didn’t have any, so they punched her before taking off with her car keys and then her vehicle, which was parked outside, police said.
She sustained minor injuries and did not require treatment.
The vehicle is described as a 2009 silver Volkswagen Passat, with the registration plate of 1TA 3GA.
