Get ready for Australia’s top bands and hottest up-and-coming artists to take over Shepparton for a day filled with live music, art displays, market stalls, food trucks, carnival rides plus stacks more.

Land of Plenty is on at Shepparton Showgrounds from 11am to 10.30pm.
Merrigum Historical Society Museum
The museum is open for viewing on the second Saturday of each month, starting Saturday, April 9, from 10am to 3pm.
A collection of agricultural and orchard machinery, equipment and domestic items is on display in an old general store and residence built in 1905.
All areas of the museum — located at 111-113 Waverley Ave, Merrigum — are accessible by wheelchair, including the toilets.

Goulburn Valley Country Music Festival
This show at Shepparton Showgrounds is a celebration of all things country and features some of Australia’s best country musicians, as well as the most exciting up-and-coming live acts from 10am to 11pm.
Lee Kernaghan, Brad Cox, Casey Barnes, Felicity Urquhart, Andrew Swift, The Davidson Brothers, Cass Hopetoun, Robert K. Champion will be joined by a Goulburn Valley local country showcase.
The festival also features food trucks, smokehouse barbecue, line dancing, whip cracking, rides, market stalls, on-site bars and all-round good times.
Easter school holiday activities at the Sheppparton Marketplace
Children can come and say hi to the Easter bunny and collect a free egg between Saturday, April 9, and Saturday, April 16, at the Shepparton Marketplace in the Easter bunny garden in Big W square.
Children can also take part in Easter crafts and make their own bunny ears or Easter basket.

Filipino Australian Friends Association fundraiser
Enjoy a family fun day – barbecue, children’s Easter egg hunting, Easter raffles on Saturday, April 9. Open day for Philippine House and 34th anniversary.
Ecumenical Palm Sunday service
A Palm Sunday service is on April 10 at the Dookie quarry. Gates open at 4.30pm for a 4.45pm start. All are welcome, but make sure you bring your own everything: chair, rug, coat, food, thermos, soft drink, torch, repellent. Once you get into Dookie, turn south at the bowls club on Baldock St corner and follow the signs/palms fronds. Park at the Dookie football ground and it is a short walk to the quarry. In the case of wet weather, meet at the Uniting church hall, Curtain St, Dookie.
Solar City Country Music Club, Shepparton
Solar City Country Music Club is hosting an event on Sunday, April 10, at the Shepparton Harness Racing Club, 758 Melbourne Rd Hwy, Kialla, from noon until 5pm. This is a COVID-safe event. Every person must register. Guest artists are The Hirds. All artists must use the band; no backing tracks. No alcohol. Barbecue lunch for purchase, plus raffles, door prizes and nifty-fifties.
Echuca Country Music Club
The Echuca Country Music Club is on Sunday, April 17, at the Tongala Public Hall from noon until 5pm. Enjoy the entertainment of guest artist is Kim Ritchie and our wonderful band. Walk-up artists welcome. Admission: members $9, non-members $10. Alcohol is not permitted at the venue. BYO all non-alcoholic drinks, food and nibbles. Door prize, nifty-fifty and normal raffles. Tea and coffee available: Gold coin donation. Please note our rule at the Echuca Country Music Club is that all guest artists and walk-up artists sing with the band on the day. No backing music. Open garden and plant sale
A real eye-opener at Goulburn Valley Health Extended Care Auxiliary president Lisa Ladas’s home (mostly succulents). Head along on Saturday, April 30, at 34 Canterbury Ave, from 10am to 4pm, with proceeds going to Mary Coram and Grutzner House. Spoil yourself with a cuppa and fresh home-made biscuit and find great Mother’s Day gifts.
Youanmite hall annual ball

Over-60s Friendship Group
A friendly social group meets every second Tuesday of each month at 6pm at Casablanca Restaurant, 125 High St, Shepparton, for a meal and to discuss the coming months’ itinerary for day and evening outings.
