Along the River Clean-Up
Between 10am and noon, at Dainton’s Bridge in Shepparton, RiverConnect will be conducting an event to help clean up the waterways.
A free barbecue lunch will be provided after the event.
SATURDAY
The GV Woodworkers 30th Annual Woodworking Show
Across Saturday and Sunday at the Shepparton Showgrounds the GV Woodworkers will be celebrating all things timber.
Demonstrations include wavy boards (bending timber with boiling water), resin pouring (a popular craft right now), whittling, box making, wood turning, band sawing, scroll sawing, pyrography (decorating wood with burn marks), knife and tool sharpening and much more.
Food vans and a kids’ area will be available, and everyone under 16 gets in for free.
Entry is $12.50 for adults, $10 for pensioners, $20 for a weekend pass.
Tickets available at the door and online (EFTPOS preferred).
Nathalia Show
The Nathalia Show, organised by the Nathalia Agricultural Society, will be held from 9am to 4pm at the Nathalia Showgrounds.
There will be Lego competitions and displays, a dairy cattle show, a puppet show, horse events and much more to keep everyone entertained.

Shepparton Spiritual and Wellbeing Expo
Find inner peace and tranquillity at the Shepparton Spiritual and Wellbeing Expo, presented by Lifestyle Markets Australia Inc.
Mediums, healers, psychics and tarot readers both local and from out of town will be on hand, as well as an array of spiritual and wellbeing products.
The Shepparton Spiritual and Wellbeing Expo will run from 9.30am to 4pm at the GV Hotel, 223 High St, Shepparton.
Entry is $5 cash at the door, with Lifestyle Markets Australia fundraising to support regional and rural youth from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The not-for-profit organisation also runs the Shepparton Showgrounds Farmers’, Specialty and Trash and Treasure market on the fourth Saturday of every month.

Community flood update meeting
The SES will host a community flood update meeting in the McIntosh Centre at the Shepparton Showgrounds from 10.30am to 11.30am.
The meeting will outline the possible flood situation downstream of Lake Eildon along the Goulburn River to the Shepparton, Mooroopna and Kialla areas.

Daylight savings
Don’t forget to turn your clocks forward an hour when you wake up.
While most technology these days will automatically turn clocks on devices from 1.59am to 3am, the clocks on your wall, in your kitchen and your car will not be as independent.
Euroa Show and Shine
Euroa Show and Shine will be held from 8am to 3.30pm at Seven Creeks Park and the streets of Euroa
There will be live music, kids’ entertainment, the Euroa mini railway plus food and market stalls.
Entrance fee is $10 for display cars including driver, $5 for display bikes including rider, $5 entrance fee for adults, kids under-16 free.

LOOKING AHEAD
Festival of Football
The AFC U17 Asian Cup Qualifiers event in Shepparton begins on Wednesday, with teams from Cambodia, China, Northern Mariana Islands and, of course, Australia, battling for a spot in the 2023 tournament.
McEwen Reserve will host the matches, but alongside the action on the pitch there will be plenty of events for the community to get involved in.
Among these is an All-Abilities Come and Try Day on Saturday and an Indigenous MiniRoos session on Sunday.
