Nan joined the club in 1984 and has given 38 years of dedication.
A tireless worker, she is always available to help in anyway, including catering, driving the courtesy car (her own), selling raffle tickets and organising functions.
As a bowler, Nan represents the club regularly at all levels.
She has been bowls secretary for the past five years and organises players to support nearby tournaments thus receiving reciprocal return visits to local events.
Never one to sit back, during COVID-19 lockdown Nan threw herself into the internal painting and, together with proud husband Dennis, painted the garden furniture.
However, the most important and rewarding role Nan has played in the Finley Bowing Club is that of board member for about 12 years.
This quiet, lovely lady will be remembered for her service by many generations of bowlers to come.

Unfortunately, many residents of Finley were not aware of the public consultation which took place at the Finley RS Club last week.
The meeting was called by Murrumbidgee Health Service to discuss and receive suggestions from the public as to how best use the $25 million allocated for the refreshed clinical plan at Finley Hospital.
The evening was chaired by LHAC member Sid Dudley, who was assisted by the consultant Alison Tidbury.
Sid was extremely impressed by the constructive suggestions and ideas put forward by those who were in attendance, and would like to thank all who have contributed in any way.
He went on to inform that, because this is just the first step of many, it could be at least three years before any significant outcome will be evident.
However, on completion, the facility will be of substantial benefit to the surrounding towns of Tocumwal, Berrigan and Jerilderie.
Some of the proposals put forward at the meeting were the provision of pre-operative and post-operative rehabilitation, mental health and diagnostic equipment.
Another issue to be faced with the expansion, as put forward by Dr Mohan, is the supply of staff and accommodation for visiting specialists.
On the lighter side, he also mentioned that he would love a helipad outside his door!
Sid assured those present that the public would be kept informed throughout the whole process.

There was lots of laughter and enjoyment in the Finley Presbyterian Church Hall last Thursday night at the Christian Women Communication International coffee evening.
Guest speaker for the night was Helen Harper who spoke of her experience when travelling in the Australian outback.
These trips connecting with women in isolated areas are called safaris and have been operating for more than 50 years, bringing the importance of Christian values and connection to outback Australia.
In the spirit of the evening, members of the Finley branch of CWCI decided to put on their own Finley safari fashion parade.
Joyce Thomas, Gwynne Hanmer, Wendy Taylor, Sue Monamy and Chris Owen gave a great performance of how they would contribute to such an event.
Helen went on to Deniliquin for morning tea on Friday morning to give her talk and display photos of her journey.
