Committee for Echuca Moama’s Tourism Working Group chair Tim Ford is looking forward to further collaboration with both councils to drive tourism in the region.
“In light of the commitment that has been provided, the group is excited to see the socials assets previously owned by Echuca Moama Tourism being put to use to drive interest and engagement,” he said.
Campaspe Shire Mayor Daniel Mackrell believes the launch of the Visit Echuca Moama website marks a significant milestone in the region's tourism development efforts.
"We are thrilled to launch this platform, which will serve as a valuable resource for both locals and tourists," he said.
“Our goal is to make it easier for everyone to discover and enjoy the many wonderful experiences that Echuca-Moama has to offer.”
Murray River Council Mayor John Harvie feels that the project reflects the collaborative spirit of the two councils, along with the local business community.
“We would like to thank the Committee for Echuca Moama for their assistance in this transition to this exciting new brand,” he said.
