The Variety 4WD Adventure, taking place from Tuesday, May 16 to Thursday, May 25 has visited two schools in the Moira Shire region.
The event, which turns 25 this year, is designed to bring adventure seekers from across the state to explore some of the region’s diverse areas while raising funds for children who are living with disability, illness or experiencing disadvantage.
Convoy members visited Katamatite Primary School and Cobram Specialist School on Tuesday, May 16.
Katamatite Primary School, which is building a new sandpit, received a delivery of trucks and other toys for the sand pit, alongside Lego and games for the students to enjoy.
The convoy will then proceed north into NSW and will finish in northern Queensland.
Katamatite Primary School principal Jason Whiteley said the visit was a great event for the school and students.
“We are very grateful to Variety for their support and the kids are very excited to get into the sandpit with their new toys,” he said.
