They say the way to a person’s heart is through their stomach, so this event is not to be missed.
The Deni Golf Club will host a rolling feast - a luxurious and delectable three-course menu, with multiple dishes to choose from for each course.
This will be the launch event for Cafe 100 owner Rachael Munro, who has entered into a kitchen partnership agreement with the Deniliquin Golf Club for 2025.
The well-known, high-quality Deni chef and caterer has designed a beautifully crafted Valentine’s Day dinner menu, which means the Golf Club will be a dream destination for all food lovers on Friday evening.
With an Italian theme, the meal begins with an antipasti starter called affettati misti - a selection of cured meats, burrata, warm rosemary olives and crusty bread.
There will also be Italian cheese filled zucchini flowers and some of nature’s natural aphrodisiac oysters natural and with bourbon and bacon.
The main course highlight is bistecca fiorentina, which is a T-bone steak with salsa verde.
A main seafood option is also there in the form of pesce all’acqua pazza - grilled snapper with a tomato-based sauce and a herb salad.
The last of the main course options is a platter of various grilled marinated vegetables and garlic roasted potatoes.
A sweet way to finish a lovely night, the dessert options include cannoli with spiced orange mascarpone and chocolate torte with strawberries.
Group bookings are available for dinner, but as the dishes are all designed to be enjoyed by two people, you can only book even numbers.
The cost is $150 for each couple.
The dining starts at 7pm in the Golf Club’s function room, which will be set up for the special occasion.
Bookings must be received by Wednesday, February 12. Call 5881 1325 or email admin@denigolfclub.com.au.
Meals will also be available in the bistro for anyone not wanting to take advantage of the Valentine’s Day special, and the club is open as usual on Friday for the weekly meat raffle proudly supported by Mokanger Butchery.
