Urgent Care open for business

Rochester Elmore District Health Service has welcomed its first patients to its newly reopened Urgent Care Clinic.

Staff treated their first client at 8.29am, one minute ahead of the 8.30am opening, on Tuesday, January 28. By noon, five patients had used the service.

REDHS staff were delighted to be back in action, some 838 days after the facility was evacuated in October 2022.

The team can assist with concerns such as abdominal pain, asthma, breathing difficulties, chest pain and pressure, cuts and minor burns, dressings, general injuries, wound care and pain management.
