Greater Shepparton City Council says there will be roadworks on Old Dookie Rd, between Doyles Rd (alternate truck route) and Cuthbert Crt, Shepparton on Tuesday, March 18.
The upgrade works will include resealing, which involves spraying hot bitumen and immediately spreading stone aggregate, on this section of Old Dookie Rd.
Works will take place between 7am and 6.30pm, weather permitting.
The road will be open to through traffic under traffic management, with access to properties provided as required.
Traffic delays are to be expected and an alternative travel route is suggested.
Road users and pedestrians are asked to obey all on-site signage and directions provided by traffic controllers.
The community is requested to take care and be aware of the traffic changes in place.
Council said it appreciated the community’s patience and co-operation during these essential maintenance works.
