Continuing the story of intrepid criminal barrister Sam Tyler, Brave Justice is the sixth novel in Tucker’s ‘Kick-Ass’ series.
Tucker’s latest workdeals with a scourge that has existed for centuries — sexual abuse.
The story follows the trials and tribulations of Tyler as she finds herself involved in a high-profile sexual abuse case against swimming instructor Duncan Reith. Having returned to Australia from Thailand after the death of her fiancé, Tyler throws herself into her work.
But danger lurks around every corner. Tyler is almost murdered by criminals, while a leading barrister in the case is killed. Thrust into the action, Tyler negotiates a class action lawsuit against the two wealthy owners of the swimming centre where Reith taught.
Learning that nine of Reith’s victims have committed suicide, Tyler calls on her brave clients and forensic experts to lend credible evidence to the case. But it isn’t until Reith himself takes to the stand that Tyler is able to reveal explosive evidence against him.
Tucker has received three awards in the National Literary Awards, has written a range of short stories and bush poems, and is also an award-winning photographer.
Brave Justice will be available to purchase in paperback and e-book from Amazon and the Cobram Newsagency. Alternatively, email the author at clancy_tucker@hotmail.com
