The ticket sellers on Saturday evening were particularly amused with the enthusiasm of one young man, who was totally intrigued with the toy header which was one of the prizes and made several enquiries about buying it throughout the evening.
Fate was on his side as he actually did win the header!
The results of the raffle were: First prize Leo Antonios; second Fay Williams, third Rick and Brax Barton.

Finley Amateur Swimming Club played host to other swimming clubs from Griffith, Coleambally, Jerilderie, Leeton/Yanco, Wagga, Deniliquin, Shepparton and Hay when the development meet was held on Saturday.
A total of 130 swimmers took part in the very full program of stroke, butterfly, freestyle, breaststroke and backstroke events for ages ranging from eight years to 15 and over.
The day was very successful, and organisers would like to thank all sponsors for their support.
The Finley Amateur Swimming Club meets on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5pm at the Finley War Memorial Pool and has a special offer available at the moment – two weeks free, come and try.
Families with children who are unable to swim are encouraged to take advantage of this offer.

The Finley Golf Club ladies are looking forward to their 2025 Opening Day, coming up on Wednesday, March 5.
A stableford event will be held; 9am for a 9.30am start. Lunch provided.
