Their most recent move has been just across the road, to 46 Benalla Rd.
With a soft opening late last year, the location boasts a massive increase in retail space at more than 2000 sq m, double the space of the previous location, which Mr Cox said came in handy during the Boxing Day sales.
Out of the 86 Total Tools stores across the country, Shepparton performed second best during the sales, something Mr Cox said everyone was surprised by.
“It exceeded everyone's expectations,” he said.
“We were just stoked; it was a great effort from all.”
The new location has meant good things for the local economy as well, with Mr and Mrs Cox being able to hire more staff and give those already employed more hours.
“We used to run a Sunday with three staff, but now we need at least five staff to keep up with the influx of customers and sales,” Mrs Cox said.
To celebrate this success, Total Tools Shepparton will be hosting a grand reopening on Thursday, March 18 from 7.30 am to 7 pm.
There will be huge deals on the day with supplier representatives doing demos.
There will be food available, so all are invited to come and grab a free snag and drink.
