The school turned the town blue with their casual clothes and raised $204, which will be donated to the “Do It for Dolly” Foundation.
Every year, the foundation encourages communities to come together, spread kindness, and unite in taking a stand against bullying.
“Dolly’s Dream was created by Kate and Tick Everett following the shattering loss of their 14-year-old daughter, Dolly, to suicide, after ongoing bullying,” the foundation said.
“Kate and Tick’s goal is to prevent other families from walking this road. They want to change the culture of bullying by addressing the impact of bullying, anxiety, depression and youth suicide, through education and direct support to young people and families.”
Speak, speak loud, even if your voice shakes!

Tocumwal Multipurpose Service’s (MPS) emergency department is staffed by highly trained Registered Nurses who are supported by the Virtual Care service, a highly sophisticated network of virtual medical support, available around the clock.
This includes the Remote Medical Consultation Service, which provides medical support for less urgent cases, and the Critical Care Advisory Service, which provides high level specialist medical support and transport co-ordination.
Our nursing teams are skilled and experienced at working in tandem with virtual medical services.
The Remote Medical Consultation Service (RMCS) provides medical advice over the phone or by video link to ensure patients receive the treatment they need when they need it.
The RMCS supports clinicians in outlying hospitals by prescribing medical treatments, providing first aid advice, and identifying when further care is required.
The Critical Care Advisory Service (CCAS) is the first point of contact for hospitals within MLHD who need expert critical care advice to better look after very sick or injured patients.
The Critical Care Advisory Service supports doctors and nurses who are treating critically ill or injured patients who need a higher level of care and is accessed using teleconferencing facilities including cameras which allow Nurse Coordinators to see patients and talk to treating doctors and nurses in real time.
The CCAS gives access to doctors trained in Emergency Medicine, including specialists, intensive care specialists, as well as NSW Ambulance and MLHD Patient Transport services.
If you’re not sure whether you need to come to the emergency department, you can call Healthdirect for free advice on 1800 022 222. If you do need emergency care, the experienced nurses at Tocumwal MPS will be there for you.
