Trains will run at slower than normal speeds on a section of the line to allow the tracks to bed down.
Trains continue to depart five minutes earlier, so plan ahead and check the temporary train timetable before you travel.
The following trains to Melbourne will depart Echuca, Rochester, Elmore, Goornong, Huntly and Epsom five minutes earlier: the 7.23am Echuca to Southern Cross service, departing at 7.18am; the 11.15am Echuca to Southern Cross service, departing at 11.10am; and the 3.15pm Echuca to Southern Cross service, departing at 3.10pm.
From Saturday, February 21, coaches will replace Bendigo, Echuca and Swan Hill line trains for the entire journey.
V/Line’s annual maintenance works will continue through to March 5.
