It will be hosting a couple of fringe events, with some food and drink not normally available in the Rose City on offer.
Owner Mat Picone said the first would be on Friday, April 11.
“We're teaming up with the guys from Black Dog Brewery,” he said.
“They’re coming down to do a beer tasting. That will be from 4pm-5pm, with around six different options.
“We’ll then have their beers available all week to showcase what they offer.”

There is no entry fee and the beer tasting is also free. You’ll only pay for any beers you buy, once you find your favourite.
Following the beer tasting there will be a special dinner on offer, starting around 6pm.
“We’ll be doing the meal on the Friday and Saturday,” Mat said.
“It's not your typical restaurant meal with entrées and mains.
“We're doing just a range of small plates to share, tapas style.
“Booking is essential for those.”

On Saturday, April 12 the community is invited to attend a ‘Wine Tasting With Tessa’ from 4pm-5pm.
“We're teaming up with the guys from VS&B for that,” Mat said.
“That is only $10 a ticket, but it is limited to 50 seats.
“We're going to have five or six wines and then a discussion with the winemaker.
“We can’t sell the wines on premises, but if you find one you like you can buy directly through the winemaker.”

Mat said everyone at the Merchant was excited to be a part of the festival.
“We’re really looking forward to it, and can’t wait to see everyone here,” he said.
