The 18-year-old woman was the only person in the Ford Territory which crashed on the Euroa-Mansfield Rd about 4pm on Saturday, November 4.
Seymour Highway Patrol Acting Sergeant Andrew Wright said the SUV had just come out of a left-hand bend, before it drifted across the road and crashed into trees on the opposite side.
CFA and SES volunteers helped free the woman from the vehicle.
She was flown to The Alfred hospital in Melbourne, but later died.
The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined and investigations are ongoing.
Thirty-nine lives have been lost on our region’s roads since New Year’s Eve.
