Tatura Art Show will return for the first time since 2019, having been put on hold during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event will be held at Victory Hall, Tatura, on November 19 and 20. It is being put on by the Rodney Art Group.
Show organiser Val Rokahr said the event was an opportunity for people all across the region to come to Tatura and enjoy the exhibition.
But importantly, it is a chance to socialise with the townsfolk and learn techniques from the artists.
"It is a chance for people to come and see what art is on offer, from watercolour to mosaics, and to get people together after what we have all gone through," Ms Rokahr said.
She said the art that would be on sale, with prices ranging from $20 to $200, was the work of 15 artists from the Rodney Art Group, which meets every Thursday morning at Victory Hall.
"We meet every Thursday to create different art, and especially during the time off it has given us a lot of motivation to create new artworks," she said.
A fundraising raffle will be held on the day to maintain upkeep of the hall.
"We will have art from everywhere, and I think some of the artists’ paintings will have inspiration from the recent flooding as well, so a mixture of art," Ms Rokahr said.
