Tatura braces for disruption

An engineering consultant has completed investigations to determine a solution for the localised pavement failures along the area.

Council has since developed a repair method and hired a contractor to complete the repairs.

Repairs are expected to start on Monday, May 27, and be finished by Friday, June 7, weather permitting.

Throughout the works, motorists should be prepared for traffic delays and the possibility of single-lane closures, with one-way traffic flow controlled by temporary traffic signals on this section of Dhurringile Rd at restricted speeds.

Council’s maintenance teams will continue to monitor the road and patch sections where required until the repair solution is completed.
