It is a display of vehicles in a relaxed atmosphere at the base of the High Country, with local food, drinks and coffee vans, a swap meet and market stalls.
Organiser Ross Coles said the festival would feature live music by ‘Rattler’, who will be performing throughout the day.
“This year a prize of $1000 cash is part of the prize pool, with all prizes donated by local businesses,” Mr Coles said.
All entries will be able to win $1000, which is not determined by a judging panel, but will be allocated by a raffle-style draw.
All entering owners will have their names in one box. When one is drawn, they will draw from another box to see which prize they take home.
There are a number of prizes in there, but only one is the $1000.
“There are also two $100 cash prizes,” Mr Coles said.
The Swanpool Motor Festival has been run for the past six years with between 250 and 400 vehicles and bikes on display.
The 2025 Swanpool Motor Festival will be held on Sunday, March 9, once again at the Albert Heaney Reserve, Midland Hwy, Swanpool.
“Come and experience our festival with cars, motorcycles, trucks, buses, race cars, boats and anything else with an engine,” Mr Coles said.
“We will also have our swap meet, market stalls, food vans and live music.”
Entry for the public is from 8am, costing $5 for adults, with children under 16 admitted free.
The display vehicle entry fee is $10, which includes entry for two adults, with the chance to share in the $5000 prize pool.
