Every year Benalla Health holds an annual appeal to raise much needed funds.
This year, it has an exciting opportunity to purchase specialised equipment for its acute and theatre suites, ensuring that the community has the most up to date equipment and services, and is receiving the best care.
A Benalla Health spokesperson said the local community had a long and proud tradition of supporting its health service.
“We understand it’s difficult for many in the community to support all appeals,” the spokesperson said.
“However we hope you can dig deep again this year and assist in providing a donation to the appeal providing an opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of your local health service.
“For the past three years your donations have contributed to the purchase of a new community bus.
“This will assist in many ways, but primarily the bus will be used in transporting residents of our Morrie Evans Wing, and day activities clients, to trips in and around Benalla.
“This is an important part of their social interaction and adds significantly to their overall health and wellbeing.
“All contributions are sincerely appreciated.”
People can make online donations at benallahealth.org.au via credit card, or directly via cheque or credit card payment at Benalla Health.
Donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible.
