Wrapping up the year with an awards ceremony, the students were recognised for their efforts throughout the year.
Many of the graduating students have plans for further education, traineeships and apprenticeships in the new year.
Of the awards presented on the day, the most prestigious award was the Chloe Morse Award, established in 2019, in honour of the former student.
Chloe lost her battle to Leukaemia in 2017 and the award is given to the student that best represents the qualities that Chloe embodied.
To be nominated a student must display kindness and courage, respect and enthusiasm in their civic engagement, school spirit and academic progress.
This year the award was given to graduating student Eden Wally.
It has been a turbulent year for the students and teachers, with the Old Schoolhouse building affected by the October floods.
Principal Shane Elliot said what stood out for him this year was the kindness and concern the students demonstrated, checking in with each other and staff.
“It’s amazing how resilient the kids have been since the flood,” Mr Elliot said.
