Don’t sweat it.
Greater Shepparton City Council is hosting ‘Cool Down Your Home This Summer’, an informative event led by energy auditor Geoff Lodge.
Scheduled for Thursday, November 21, the session will take place at the Shepparton Library and online for those unable to attend in person.
Mr Lodge will provide practical, cost-effective strategies to combat summer heat, including tips on insulation improvements, boosting energy efficiency and optimising natural airflow in your home.
Attendees can expect valuable insights aimed at creating a more comfortable living space while cutting down on energy bills.
“This is a great opportunity to get some first-hand advice on how to reduce your energy costs this summer,” GSSC environment manager Sharon Terry said.
Following the talk, participants can engage in a Q&A session with Mr Lodge, allowing them to ask specific questions about their homes.
As an added bonus, those attending in person will have the chance to win a draught-proofing kit, which can enhance energy efficiency year-round.
“The last energy efficiency event had a wonderful response,” Ms Terry said.
“We invite the community to join this free event and secure their spot by registering in advance.”
Cool Down Your Home This Summer with Geoff Lodge is on Thursday, November 21, at 6.30pm at the Shepparton Library, 41-42 Marungi St, Shepparton.
