Last month, St Mel’s Primary School students were given a break from their side-by-side seating chart and introduced to the forward lines of AFL.
Zaya Munday, an AFL game development officer, visited Shepparton on Thursday, February 22, to conduct an Auskick clinic at the school.
With the twinkle of the Sherrin at their toes, the students launched into a series of drills.
For some, it was a barrel of laughs. For others, it was a chance to showcase their skills.
No matter the level of proficiency, all students put their best foot forward, as captured by The News photographer Rechelle Zammit.
