The Child and Family Services Alliance joined forces to host the event where there was much action for all to enjoy.
Children were able to ride pedal karts, make their own pot plants and much more at the annual event, which coincided with National Families Week.
‘‘National Families Week is a time to celebrate with your family, make contact with your extended family and friends and share in the enjoyment of family activities within the wider community,’’ FamilyCare’s Katie Huddleston said.
‘‘It is a time to celebrate the meaning of family and to make the most of family life.’’
Among the displays included a demonstration from the CFA with Captain Koala showing children how to use a kitchen fire blanket, how to phone 000 and much more.
The theme for this year was ‘‘Stronger Families, Stronger Communities’’.
