Yarrawonga Squash Club will celebrate its 50th anniversary on Friday, March 24 at the squash courts in Benalla Road.

The milestone celebration will start at 5.00pm. At about 6.00pm, there will be an exhibition match between two up and coming stars in Xander Smith and Zara Shaw.
“It will be great to see as many past players as possible to our up and coming players,” club vice president Adrian Smith told the Yarrawonga Chronicle.
Bernie Massey, Brian Lyons, Margaret Lyons, Wayne Dunne - Bernie was an active club member in the 1980s, Brian and Marg were original owners of courts, Wayne Dunne was a long time member of the club and nine-time men’s club champion.
“We’re also keen to see our squash numbers get back up the former glory years.”
Drinks will be available at bar prices and a gold coin donation will allow you to tuck into a barbecue.
