St Michael’s School students used ‘Sock it to poverty’ as the slogan for their annual Mission Day, with crazy socks a feature of the celebrations.
The day is intended to allow students to recognise and learn about poverty and social injustice around the world.
Students listen to Pope Francis’ yearly mission statement and assist in fundraising for his chosen charity.
