All money raised will be going towards ReachOut, the leading online mental health service in Australia supporting young people during tough times.
Matilda will be swimming 100km throughout the month herself, and would love for people to join the Coly pool team and also contribute.
You can swim as little or as many laps as you would like.
As an incentive to get people in the pool, swimming some laps and raising money for an extremely important cause there are some prizes up for grabs.
The team member who raises the most will receive $300.
Two $100 Budgy Smuggler vouchers are also up for grabs, to go to the junior (under 16) and open age swimmers who complete the most laps throughout the month.
There will also be raffle tickets available for $5 each.
First prize is a $600 voucher to Kimo Estate Gundagai, second is a one night stay at the Whitton Malthouse and third is $200 cash.
With the pool season coming to an end at the end of March, Matilda will be running a fun day on March 29.
This will be an end of season party, and a Laps for Life fundraiser.
There will be a sausage sizzle and some fun races to add to team laps, and for the kids to win some prizes.
The raffle and other prizes will be finalised on the day.

Do you have cans and bottles that can be recycled?
The Coly Bowling Club has containers at the back of the club.
If you just throw them out rather than recycling them, please drop them off to the back of the club so bowls members can recycle them and gain much needed funds.

Congratulations to Tania McVittie (nee Johnson), Kerrie and Graeme Paull and Joe Briggs for competing in the Barellan Masters Games recently.
Hopefully more from the area join in next year, as the scribe of this snippet puts a lot of work into bringing an event to a little town like Coleambally.
