Shepparton’s skate park has been given a daily work-out during the holidays with plenty of skaters showing tricks on boards, bikes and scooters.

For those in the know, kick-flips, back-flips, kick-pushes, carves and ollies were on show as skaters and equipment were put through their paces at the Victoria Park Lake foreshore.
Nearby, Greater Shepparton City Council’s new playground equipment at the former John Pick Playground was also a hit, with a flying fox and more traditional swings and climbing frames given a thorough workout.
While these pictures were taken before last week’s big heat, The News is pretty sure the skaters, swing riders and climbers will return this week despite temperatures predicted to reach a punishing 43°C by Friday.
