Attendees will have the opportunity to visit familiar classrooms, catch up with old friends and recall their high school days.
The event will also feature displays of memorabilia and historic photos, as well as student tour guides, a free barbecue and more.
Shepparton High School principal Christine Cole said she wanted to see as many people as possible come along and share their memories of the school.
“I want them to reminisce and tell their stories,” Ms Cole said.
During construction on the school site, all memorabilia will be temporarily stored until it can be showcased at Greater Shepparton Secondary College.
“People who used to attend the school are really pleased to learn that the heritage front office building and main gates are being preserved and incorporated into the new school,” Ms Cole said.
Historical items will continue to be collated from each of the four schools as part of the Shepparton Education Plan's dedicated project called ‘Honouring the Past’.
The Shepparton High School open day is on from 11 am to 3 pm on Sunday, December 1.
