The three charities were chosen by Year 7 students who identified what the biggest issues affecting the world were — the war in Ukraine, COVID-19 and the floods.
As such, profits from the fete will be split three ways to assist in these areas across international, national and local bases.
To assist with the economic impacts of COVID-19, funds will go to Shepparton Food Share to help buy food and supplies for families in need.
To help with the Queensland and NSW floods, the school will put money towards Samaritan’s Purse Australia to go towards clean-up efforts in flood-affected areas.
Money will also go to YWAM Slavic Ministries, which are assisting displaced and injured Ukrainians.
The fete was packed with students, staff and families who enjoyed a fun night out.
Activities included pedal go-karts, inflatable games, a fairy floss machine, bucking bull, face painting, craft activities, food vans and live music.
