On the final day of term, students at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart School in Elmore took part in a meaningful experience of solidarity with refugees as part of the school’s Lenten program.

In support of Caritas and inspired by the 2025 theme "Pilgrims of Hope," students prepared a liturgy and organised themselves into groups for a special activity.
Each group built a makeshift shelter, developing a deeper awareness of the hardships faced by refugees around the world who are forced to live in unstable and insecure housing.
Year 6 student Cooper Mullane co-ordinated his group’s efforts.
