On Saturday, October 28, owners Brett and Joanne Ford, along with their family, staff, and a dedicated team of volunteers, organised an incredible day for a great cause.
The event managed to raise more than $20,000 for the Royal Children’s Hospital.

More than 300 people attended the event, making it a true community effort.
The day featured an array of attractions, including vintage cars and tractors on display.
Josh Powell, an expert on Furphy tanks, demonstrated how to re-barrel a tank, and an army tank was driven over an old car, providing plenty of excitement for the crowd.

The event witnessed various volunteers stepping up to have their beards and heads shaved as fundraising milestones were reached.
Even local police officers participated in the shaving activities.

In addition to the shaving activities, there were raffles and a BBQ trailer provided by the Dookie Diggers and District Fishing Association.
The generous contributions of businesses associated with the Ford family, along with individual and public donations, helped make the event a resounding success.
Auction items were presented and hosted by DDDGFA president Paul Durden, with the enthusiastic support of many helpers.
Furthermore, Northern Vic Ammo Supplies donated a percentage of their sales from the day to contribute to the remarkable result.
