Shepparton Art Museum’s SAM at Sunset event is back this Thursday, April 27, with a brush of a different colour.
The evening of art, talks, drinks and live music begins at the new time of 5pm, with level four’s terrace bar open from 5.30pm for drinks, nibbles and live music from local musician Luke Lewis.
Among the evening’s entertainment, this month’s featured artist Adam John Cullen will have two interconnected exhibitions open for viewing: Three Hares and Three Ears.
The artist is scheduled to lead a conversation with fellow artist Kate Wallace, gallerist Adam Stone and SAM head of exhibitions and collections Jessica O’Farrell.
SAM head of engagement Gabriella Calandro said the new SAM at Sunset program was a unique opportunity for people to come together in a creative space and be inspired by local artists.
“It’s wonderful for our community to support local creatives and musicians by creating sustainable and regular paid programming opportunities,” she said.
During Thursday’s SAM at Sunset event, entry to the museum and access to the photography session and talks are free.
