More than 260 people were in attendance for the inaugural event; an unforgettable night of music, entertainment, and community spirit in support of BELLA T.
Chair of the Bella Tripp Foundation and Bella’s mum, Yasmina Tripp said it was a wonderful night, with plenty of people enjoying the entertainment and hospitality on offer.
“It was such a great event. We didn’t expect as many people to be there as there was!” Yas said.
“The feedback we had on the night and since the event is that it was fantastic and we have been asked if we can do it again.
“The 13-piece band ‘Big and Horny’ were fantastic and it was a good balance of an event with an auction held, with Fev (Brendan Fevola) and Ben Dixon hosting, which got funnier as the night went on, and music for people to dance the night away to.
“People also kept donating items to the auction so we went from three items to six which was amazing.
“It was just a positive event and raised awareness for the cause of early detection and treatment solutions for respiratory complications resulting from bone marrow transplants in children.
“We have raised $50,000 which is a lot of money and we are eternally grateful for what was raised.
“It was just a big thank you to the town. Without them we couldn’t do it and it was a humbling experience.
“We have been asked by multiple people to do it again so we will see what we can do and hope to do more within the local community who has supported us in so many different ways.”
