Held in Melbourne during the closing days of May, members of Rochester Rotary joined with fellow Rotarians from throughout the world to participate in memorable, variable events and activities as part of Rotary International convention.

The event was held in iconic venues ranging from Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne Convention Centre through to club-hosted dinners at various venues, including dinner in the MCG Longroom.
Local and overseas members participated in End Polio walks, footy at the G — a first time visit for many — and a welcome to all people night at the Melbourne Museum.
The Packing For A Meal project saw 170-thousand meal packs produced, all to assist people in need, locally and internationally.
Top musical entertainment at the opening and closing ceremony, along with most inspirational speakers from all aspects of the world made for a most memorable experience.
Displays, with informative booths inviting people to come along and be part of their case ranged from water projects, End Trachoma Now, multiple sclerosis, End Polio, through to fellowship groups from caravanners, beer, gin and wine-tasting groups.
Attending the post-convention dinner, along with 500 fellow Rotarians made a fitting end to Convention 23, Melbourne style.
