The CFA responded to a grass fire at Colbinabbin on Thursday, February 13.
CFA units were alerted to a grass fire along Bendigo-Murchison Rd at Colbinabbin at about 12.50pm.
Six units from Toolleen, Colbinabbin, Corop and Elmore responded and aircraft support was also called to the scene.
A ‘stay informed’ community notice was issued at 1.22pm by the CFA for residents in Colbinabbin, Colbinabbin West, Myola and Runnymede.
The grass fire was deemed under control by crews at 1.18pm and safe at 2.06pm.
A CFA spokesperson said the fire burned approximately two hectares of bushland in Colbinabbin.
