The show stars comedian and cabaret performer Frock Hudson, real name Dean Arcuri, who will entertain the crowd with a variety of picture books that celebrate diversity and encourage acceptance and appreciation of difference.
The performer, who has worked around Australia, has extensive experience entertaining varied crowds and has presented reworked songs from musical icons including Sia and Missy Higgins.
This is the fourth year Rainbow Story Time has been part of the Out in the Open Festival, but only the second time that Shepparton residents will have been able to see it live and in person.
The show is suitable for all ages.
Reservations are not necessary, and attendees are invited to come along and find a seat on the day.
