This split-bill is written and performed by two of Melbourne’s fastest-rising and extravagantly overdressed comedians, Sweeney Preston and Ethan Cavanagh.
This show is packed with slides full of images, news cut-outs, maps, animations and graphs to punctuate their stand-up.
Armed with outfits they can’t afford and a .ppt file they can’t attach to an email, this is a show where presentation truly is everything.
They performed at last year’s Shepparton Festival, and are keen to highlight the importance of regional shows.
“Having grown up in regional areas of Ararat and Ballarat, I know how important it is to add places like Shepparton to the tour list because a lot of shows skip it,” Mr Cavanagh said.
“Just because it’s a regional city doesn’t mean people don’t want a laugh; we’ve found that some of our best audiences have been at shows in regional Vic.”
