A Melbourne man was fined almost $1000 and lost his license for six months after he was caught driving 53kph over the speed limit in a 100kph zone.
Yarrawonga Police caught the 29-year-old speeding motorist at 7.25pm last Friday, April 4 on the Benalla Yarrawonga Road heading towards Tungamah.
A 33-year-old Melbourne man was fined $395 and lost three demerit points for driving 117kph in a 100 kph zone.
He was nabbed by Yarrawonga Police on the Benalla Yarrawonga Road at 6.56pm last Friday, April 4.
Drink driving penalties
Driving under the influence of alcohol left more than a sour taste in the mouth of a wedding guest last Saturday.
The 33-year-old female from Cockatoo blew .09 when she was stopped by police in Irvine Parade, Yarrawonga. She was fined $593 and had her license suspended for six months.
Drug charges
A 41-year-old Yarrawonga man was charged last Friday morning with possession of drugs in Commercial Road, Yarrawonga. He will appear in Cobram Magistrates Court.
