The Goulburn Valley Health Extended Care Auxiliary is hosting an open garden and sale on Saturday, April 30.
Auxiliary secretary Lolene James said the garden was a “real eye-opener” with a sea of succulents as far as the eye could see, along with other exciting varieties on offer.
“It’s a great chance to get outside and find something a little special for Mother’s Day, all while helping our local hospital,” she said.
All proceeds will go towards GV Health’s Grutzner House and to the hospital’s “wish list” of equipment needed for the Mary Coram Unit.
The team traditionally raises up to $12,000 annually for GV Health's extended care services.
The auxiliary is always on the lookout for new members; group members meet over seven months of the year, with theatre lunches and other activities on the agenda.
The garden is at 34 Canterbury Ave, Shepparton, and is open on Saturday, April 30, from 10am to 4pm.
Entry to the garden is $5 and an additional $5 for a cup of tea and fresh homemade biscuits. Plant prices differ depending on size, range and variety.
