The time has come for Shepparton residents to unleash their inner artist, all in the safe place of new business Pinot and Picasso.
The increasingly popular sip and paint experience is opening on Saturday, June 25, kicking off at 7pm with a guided painting of the Northern Lights.
Now managing three Pinot and Picasso branches across Victoria, Rhiannan Pearce got more than she’d anticipated when she went to one of the first studios in Sydney in 2019.
At the time, she was working in the construction industry but had a flair for creativity.
“I hadn't been drawing or painting in years, I'd lost touch and it just ignited that again,” she said.
“And the most beautiful thing about it was, yes, I had some of my family, the music was awesome — I remember singing along with the Spice Girls and Bryan Adams, and just getting jiggy with it — but I also found myself again.
“My path went from customer, to artist, and now to managing multiple studios — it’s really a blessing.”
While Mrs Pearce’s experience is on the extraordinary side, she has a passion for helping attendees get as much out of the experience as she did.
“I hope Shepparton can find the happiness and joy just the same,” she said.
All sessions include guidance from the store’s artist, giving the customer the chance to sit back and relax, but also room to let their imagination fly.
Equipment is provided; however, the sessions have a ‘bring your own’ policy for nibbles and preferred drop, with the offer of a grazing platter at additional cost.
The experiences are held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Family and private sessions can also be booked.
