Luckily, the Graham Hill Eyecare Pink Ribbon Sunglasses Expo is the perfect opportunity to purchase chic sunglasses, all in the name of a great cause.
Graham Hill Eyecare is hosting its fundraiser for cancer care in the Goulburn Valley at the new date of Thursday, November 24, with all proceeds donated to the Goulburn Valley Health Foundation in support of the Peter Copulos Wellness Centre.
“This is a cause that is important to our family, we have had a close connection to the wonderful service that is provided by the Peter Copulos Wellness Centre,” Graham Hill Eyecare director Mark DePaola said.
“It’s going to be a great day, with a carnival atmosphere, with lots of people getting back into the idea of fashion, flair and hopefully sunshine.”
Following flooding in the region the expo had to be postponed, as did McPherson Media Group’s women’s magazine Betty, which was already in the process of printing.
The magazine, which is set to be released on Friday, November 18, features an article with the expo’s original date of October 27.
“We appreciate this has been a challenging time for the community over the last couple of months, and we are looking forward to bringing back positivity and energy towards a terrific cause and a beautiful springtime to come,” Mr DePaola said.
Sunglasses purchased on Thursday, November 24 will be 20 per cent off on the day. Graham Hill Eyecare will showcase over 500 models from designer brands such as Gucci, YSL, Oroton, Tom Ford, Le Specs, Guess, Maui Jim, Ray Ban and many more.
Mr DePaola said it was a great chance to showcase the range to the community, with many being displayed outside Melbourne for the first time.
“It is great to give our community exposure to sunglasses that would otherwise only be available on show in the city,” Mr DePaola said.
The expo will run from 10am to 7pm at Graham Hill Eyecare, 98 Maude St, Shepparton.
