She arrived at the shelter as a pregnant stray, gave birth to a beautiful litter and lovingly raised her kittens until they were old enough to find homes of their own.
Now that they’ve all been adopted, it’s Skye’s turn to find a forever family.
She’s currently the Greater Shepparton Animal Shelter’s longest-staying feline, and staff can’t wait for someone to finally see what a gem she is.
Skye is a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, she shows her affectionate, curious side.
She loves to explore her surroundings and will happily keep you company with her gentle purrs and playful personality.
Skye would do best in a quiet, mature home without young children.
Shelter staff are not sure how she feels about other cats, but if you already have a feline friend, staff are happy to help guide a slow and careful introduction to give everyone the best chance at getting along.
If Skye sounds like the companion you've been waiting for, simply complete the shelter’s online Animal Adoption Questionnaire.
If you’re a good match, a shelter staff member will be in touch.
Let’s help this lovely girl find the loving home she truly deserves.
