PDFNL - Waaia netball

Waaia finished seventh in its 2019 A-grade campaign, but considering fifth and sixth contested the grand final, perhaps the Bombers aren't so far away from premiership contention.

With Nikki Foster back at the helm and strong pre-season numbers, the side appears poised to once again factor in the final discussion and is looking to jump up the ladder.

“It's been really good, we've got big numbers so far and we should have some great depth. People have stuck around and we've got some new players, so grading has been tough,” Foster said.

The Bombers gain sisters Ruby and Rosie Arnel; Foster said the fast and dynamic attacker Ruby and the strong defensive presence of Rosie would bolster the side across the court.

“I think the nine players we'll have in A-grade will be very interchangeable and can play a lot of different positions, so we should be able to adjust well too,” Foster said.
